Our Spring season begins March 25th, 2012. We currently have 8 awesome teams but we want more! If you are interested in playing please send us an email with your name, age and level of experience to rvwsoccer at gmail.com. Put together your own team or we’ll help you find one!

A few things you should know:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Limit of 24 players per team
• All levels of experience welcome (even beginners!)

Come out this weekend and support Roanoke’s own Lion Football Club in the Refugee Cup games!

Saturday games at Hollins University:
1 p.m. Lion FC vs. Charlottesville
3 p.m. Columbus, Ohio vs. Nashville, Tenn.

*Sunday games at William Fleming High School:
Noon – Third-place game
4 p.m. Championship

The Roanoke Valley Women’s Soccer League has had a great first year! To all the ladies who came out to play this year – Thank You!! We’d also like to send out a big thank you to the referees. And a special thank you to the husbands, boyfriends, friends and families who came out to support us.
